Maidenhead Converter does its best to provide the most accurate numbers possible, however there are a few things that may degrade accuracy.
Maidenhead Converter has special keypads specifically built for entering latitude, longitude, and maidenhead coordinates. These should be intuitive enough to just use, but this section will explain their unique aspects.
If you brought a keypad up in error, you can tap above or below it to dismiss it without committing its value.
You can tap the Done key at any time. You don't need to enter a full eight characters in the Maidenhead keypad or enter a latitude/longitude coordinate to second accuracy to confirm an entered coordinate.
The latitude/longitude keypads have, on their top row, a toggle between North/South or West/East. Tapping the toggle at any time will change the hemisphere that the coordinate is for. Tap the degree button after entering the degree part of a coordinate, and the minute button after entering the minute part.
The maidenhead keypad restricts the characters that you can enter to only valid characters for a given context. Maidenhead coordinates are composed of a pair of letters, followed by a pair of numbers, followed by another pair of letters, and finally another pair of numbers. Because of this, you will be shown a set of letters for the first two characters, followed by a set of numbers, and so forth.
